Brutal edit:
“So, I originally came out to California to try to figure out how to improve the energy density of electric vehicles – basically to try to figure out if there was an advanced capacitor that could serve as an alternative to batteries. And that was in 1995… So, I decided to drop out… And I did some Internet stuff, you know. I’ve done a few things here and there. One of which is PayPal.”
On a student visa.

Hmmm… so here we establish he was actually trying to get into the US.
“Yes, so…my mother was born in Canada. Her father was American. But unfortunately she didn’t get her American citizenship, so then that broke the link and I couldn’t get my American citizenship. But she was born in Canada, so I actually filled out the forms for her and got her a Canadian passport, and me too. Within three weeks of getting my Canadian passport, I was in Canada.”
Gray area? 🙄
“I wasn't sure if what I worked on in the PhD would actually be useful.. So I was really concerned that if I-- Why, timing? Or
what was your intuition? Meaning it could be academically useful, but not practically useful.. It could result in a PhD and
adding some leaf to the tree of knowledge, but then discovering that, well, it's not really going to matter.. Is it going to be a
good enough thing to actually be used in an electric vehicle?”
EV’s? 😂 or undocumented?

Tucker Carlson: “People are like, ‘Oh, well, we had another hurricane, must be global warming.’ No! It‘s probably abortion, actually. You can’t kill children on purpose....You can’t participate in human sacrifice without consequences.”
Whew… people thought I was crazy, but yelling in the morning really does make the sun rise.
I’m changing ALL my passwords to 123.
And a few characters. And a few symbols. And some uppercase characters. So it looks like:
A5;&.#{cheFIT62:&$123htsAf.$efgyAfWoCv
That’s easy to remember.
Sure, Jan.
Tucker Carlson: "I mean, Elon Musk joked to me, and he has, I think, many times, that he's going to go to prison if Trump loses. I don't know if he's going to prison but he'll be destroyed for sure, and he's doing it anyway, so that gives a lot of different people heart."
Wait… do the words coming out of your mouth connect to one another? How will the world’s richest man be destroyed?
This makes zero sense.

“During a portion of the hit that claims that American ‘values were labeled shameful,’ the advertisement features a still shot taken in Germany during 2012, according to Getty, which sells the image. Two more clips from the ad were taken from Thailand—a model in Thailand dressed as a construction worker appears with narration questioning if America can make a comeback“
This is Trump’s people using images from other countries and pretending they’re of America.

That was literally my career once we got internet.
The first part of my career was literally buy books for a couple of pages.
People don’t know how good they got it.
I probably spent close to a thousand, or more, on books.
It certainly is.
I liked him during Bush Admin but when he did The Problem, my goddess, it was just simplistic drivel. His most embarrassing moment was attempting to play “gotcha” with a Biden cabinet appointment (forget who) who was puzzled at his questions.
It was just embarrassing.
But it defined, to me, he was not the smartest man at the writers table.
When Stewart tells you who he is, we should believe him.
This is who he is.
As you say, no surprise. It’s what being entitled does.
I agree. There was nothing there to defend.
Stewart’s argument is, “Hey, you can’t take a joke”—he is a prime example of why happens when you are part of the 0.05%, you lose all sense of common decency.
This is what power does to people: it makes them insensitive to others.
Jon Stewart and John Oliver made jokes at our expense. They didn’t speak truth to power, instead arguing that both sides are equal.
Now we have Oliver crying for people to fix his mistakes and Stewart coming to the defense of a racist.
Wow, this is so fucked up.
And Jon Stewart goes full metal racist. I’m not surprised.
Wyatt Cenac: “People seemed surprised Jon’s criticism was towards the media and not Hinchcliffe, who he called ‘very funny,’ excusing the comedian’s participation in a xenophobic rally as the fault of the organizers for booking a ‘roast comedian.’ Having worked for Jon, his response wasn’t really surprising. Disappointing but not surprising.”
Sad Stewart is to the right of many Republican politicians.

But he isn’t changing any minds.
