In Texas, some of the training required to become an OB-GYN is no longer offered because of the state’s abortion laws. That means OB-GYN residents now have to leave the state for two- to four-week rotations to get the required training.

I disagree. “Weird” had impact as Trump and Vance kept spending an inordinate amount of time attempting to refute it. As such, their message was lost even after the Harris campaign moved on. “Weird” also doesn’t have the same negative impact as “deplorable”—it was a smart move (“weird” is a plus/minus while “deplorable” is just a minus).
What hurt Trump is a) attempting to refute being “weird” made him look weirder b) his obsession to NOT look weird (fellatio with a mic?)
There is no amount of context that makes this look normal.
Can you imagine Trump is talking to a world leader then pretends to have oral sex?

@feloneouscat I hate that people like him ignore the hundreds of court cases fought to protect democracy, the thousands of poll workers endangering their lives to protect democracy, and the millions of individuals who have been working through deep family struggles because they refuse to just ignore family politics. I know those issues aren’t funny, but the joke is going to be on Oliver and his team if his whataboutism wins out.
Because it worked so well under Grandpa Trump.
