This is hard today y'all, I am *struggling* right now.
1. I have a very supportive husband and I'm leaning on him right now
2. I'm trying to be proactive regarding my career and that is improving my mood somewhat
3. I'm making good progress on the Sorceress Scarf, hopefully it'll be done yet this week

1. I finished my Nurmilintu shawl last night (Rav link - ravelry.com/patterns/library/n)
2. I'm making good progress on my other projects
3. I'm enrolled in and making good progress with a few online professional development certificates

1. I am 4 rows (and the picot bind off) away from being done with my current shawl project
2. I totally botched the improvised recipe for this week's breakfast bowls, but they're making fantastic "smoothies" so it's still a win
3. J and I are finalizing plans for our anniversary trip next month

BONUS - "fear my beans!!!"

Morning y'all! I took a brief, spontaneous break from screens over the long weekend. I missed you all, but I had a good time. Photo collage as tax. 😉

1. it's raining today
2. I had a really relaxing and productive long weekend
3. I'm almost to the 1/2 way point with the Sorceress Scarf (top pic)

1. I found a nice free pattern on Ravelry for making a mosaic coaster yesterday and it's going quite well
2. I'm working on campus today and managed to get here and in the building before the torrential downpour started
3. I feel *fierce* today, which is good because I'm fully prepared to stand my ground during a meeting

1. I finished my latest kimono using yarn I picked up in 2021 (no pattern, my own experiment)
2. I got to hang out with my and friends this weekend and J and I had dinner with friends that night
3. I've got 2 new projects lined up to get started that will both involve new techniques for me

1. today is day and I've finalized my design - it's a composite piece using free clip art I found
2. we're still on track to move in to our new campus offices the first week of July
3. my mom and stepdad gave me their old dining table and chairs for my workshop in the garage so I won't have to use the folding table and camp chair anymore!

I did more this weekend than I normally do, and I think it's really going to help.

I modified my overnight oats recipe and removed the shredded coconut and the coconut milk, and this week used fresh blueberries because I had them.

The picture is of my lunches - Southwest quinoa salad and black grapes. I used this recipe and added a can of petite diced tomatoes - thegirlonbloor.com/easy-quinoa

1. the "guest room" has officially been converted to a "cat suite" and they love it
2. I finally feel like I'm caught back up from being out of sorts after the week that shall not be spoken of again
3. today is and tomorrow I get my next

Bonus - I caught Talyn and Garth sharing the blanket by the window

The Dragon Shawl is done and it looks fantastic! Pattern is from Cottontail Whiskers - cottontailandwhiskers.com/amig

The pattern was fantastic, super easy to follow, and totally worth it.

1. I'm making really good progress on my Dragon Shawl ( pattern from Cottontail Whiskers)
2. tomorrow is my regularly scheduled monthly Friday off and J and I are going to start transforming the "guest room" into the "cat suite"
3. we made a very tasty and very healthy dinner last night of air fryer salmon with curry honey mustard, quinoa with peas, and zucchini and onions sautéed with a curry spice blend

Talyn found a new hiding spot. Why he would want to sleep on the shelf on a blanket instead of in that big fluffy bed is beyond my human ability to comprehend.

1. by increasing my activity and being more mindful of what I was eating/drinking yesterday I managed to lose 3lbs (yes, I did this in a healthy way)
2. I've started a new project using the leftover yarn from my kimono - not sure if it'll be a scarf or a cowl yet, depends on how long it gets
3. I have a ridiculously busy day ahead of me, but it's an exciting kind of ridiculous

I have no idea who else might be in the greater Omaha metro area, but if you are and you are at all involved in then you are welcome to join us

is sometimes

Shrimp, artichoke hearts, asparagus, and roasted red peppers over orzo - no recipe, just love
