#GuyFawkes isn't a terribly good symbol for a left-wing or anarchist revolution, Alan Moore's excellent V Is For Vendetta notwithstanding. His conspiracy to blow up Parliament was part of a plan to place a Catholic monarch on the throne. It was about sectarian strife, not freedom.

Has anyone considered that #ElonMusk might simply be that middle aged dude who finally discovered weed in his 50s and doesn't have any friends to tell him he's not brilliant, he's stoned?

We call what we do here posts, not "toots".

The word “toot” is the archaic term, it’s the word mastodon uses, and in the very early life of CoSo, we used to be federated with them. Not anymore.
The documentation has not yet been updated. It will but we’re kind of busy right now..

Last night, I used 100 digits of pi as a test post, but it wasn't a complete coincidence.

I've been working on a scarf with stripe widths weighted by consecutive digits of pi. I started with the third digit (4). The brown stripe widths are invariant.

The yarn is my handspun, and probably from a few years back. I have no idea what the original plan was.

I've seen a bunch of new members confused about how followers/following works here.
First of all, we don't care. The number of F/F isn't important.
At CoSo, who you follow is your choice, based on who engages on topics you find interesting. All following does is put that person's toots in the My friends column so you can see them easier.
It's the same with members following you. You probably won't get followers at first. We want to see who you are and what you have to say before we follow.

#travel This bus service from London to Calcutta (Kolkata) is considered to have been the longest bus route in the world.
The service, which was started in 1957 and operated by Albert Travel, was routed to India continuing after the UK, to Belgium, through Europe via Yugoslavia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and West Pakistan. After entering India, it eventually reached Calcutta via New Delhi, Agra, Allahabad and Banaras. Fifty days! (approximate)

Looscaunagh Lough. On the Ring of Kerry, high up over the town of Killarney on the edge of the National Park is lovely sight to cycle your bike along - albeit getting up there is an effort. My route was via Molls Gaps. I painted this 4 years ago. #art
