It’s just boiled eggs but the composition caught my eye.

Had an exchange with FedEx on this matter. They were quick to respond. The status of the package has been updated to out-for-delivery. They did not directly address my actual question about the multiple hops from Memphis to my home city. That is, other than to say FedEx uses a thing called Zone Skipping that may look confusing but is apparently actually ultra-super-duper brilliant. (I paraphrased a little). I decided I wasn't gonna die on that hill so I just let it go.

@EileenKCarpenter @kel What I miss is the tv show where a crew showed up at your house and made you dinner from whatever you had on hand. They would praise your knives and make fun of your pans and throw out the cream of tartar that was 15 years old. The outcome was frequently quite amazing, but not always. I'm going to see if I can find the name. I often said I wanted them to show up at my place.

When I was young my parents frequently told a story about how they got the dressers my brother and I had in our bedrooms. A family friend had them for sale but instead gave them to my parents, refusing any kind of payment. My parents didn't have 2 nickels to rub together so they were quite grateful. The friend told them to enjoy them and to do something kind for someone else in the future. Clearly my first exposure to the "pay it forward" concept.

First 10k 🏃‍♂️of the year is in the books yesterday. Temp was okay (about 40F) but the wind was also 20ishMPH. 💨So yuck for that part. We shall not discuss my time or how bad my knee hurts today. 🦵 I will say I came in within a couple minutes of my estimate. The bar was set pretty low. 😉
