@Maude I wonder if he realizes he's self-reporting already.. May Justice come his way.

As the US election draws ever closer, the emotions folks have about the stakes and potential outcomes intensify.

Some people are desperately worried about their personal safety should DJT get re-elected, others are worried for friends or family. Much could change.

So the coping demand is heavy.

I hope people will give each other grace over these next days and weeks.

Take care of yourself as works best for you and let others do the same without judgment.

We’re all doing our best.

@ucantstop_me Liam. He's direct spoken, but a bit shy, not that I blame him, I am as well face-to-face.

@ucantstop_me I like talking to him back on Twitter he was a good dude I hope he comes back.

@Dogofalltrees As for my own search experience, I went through at least 11 before I found one that I seriously clicked with and felt safe speaking to with all levity. And that's over a span of about 5 years after I moved to Michigan and started getting serious about my mental health needing help.

Alright, Ya’ll, I got a for everyone reading this: When you’re trying to find a (assuming your health insurance covers them without issue), what do you look for? How many do you see before you decide to go with one? (Is that something you’d even do? Or would you just go with the first one your insurance covers?) 🤔

@Dogofalltrees What I would recommend, is go for at least an introduction session, if you get any bad feeling, or bad vibes about the therapist, definitely listen to that gut feeling and look for another one that can fit the bill of what you need in care.

@Dogofalltrees Okay, so depending on what you are going to therapy for, personally I look for trauma specialists that are supportive to LGBTQ folks, or LGBTQ themselves, I check PsychologyToday's search listings first before I check any providers personal site for any reviews from patients and fellow providers. I am currently looking for a new therapist myself, so I feel ya on the search being a hard one.

My son, as Mario this year. (Yes, he was holding the mustache upside down and he changed his shoes before he departed for trick or treating with his grandmother.)

@sentientdessert @Tacitus_Kilgore While yes, religious holidays are lovely to have respected, it's hard to respect them without being exclusive about it, or promoting one religion over another.

@sentientdessert @Tacitus_Kilgore Honestly, I wish religion had stayed personal choice rather than foisted off by governing officials for another foothold of power and influence.

Afterthought: Yes in our relationship, I'm the one with bigger balls to speak my mind and express myself, than he is. He gets easily flustered when someone ticks me off and I'm off to the races to chew them out for it.

Personal jokes transfolk might giggle with me over.
My partner likes to talk about how he enjoys my topside, and I just keep reminding him that they are just misplaced testicles. (And yes, they are much bigger than his own.)
Gift notes to my partner from steam purchase.
"Ya know there's a half off sale over here waiting on ya." Signed, "Your 1/2 boyfriend"
"Want to see if mines bigger than yours?" Signed, "You know they are"

(In no way are these intended to offend, he blushes like a cherry.)

@redenigma I woulda followed up with "So, who's licking them to polish?" and booked it.

Okay peeps! It’s that time of year! Pumpkin poll! Which is your favorite? Poll following this post…..

@Tacitus_Kilgore @NorthernInvader Yeah, some words can be really misconstrued, but hey there's fun in reclaiming them too. *nods*
