Seluna however, is an unknown, a newcomer to Paragon City, and the Isles, but because she's associated with the moon phases, she's had trouble meeting people, learning about human life in the city and understanding the modern world. It was through him, she learned to adapt, but she also discovered a love with him that will outshine the very sun. They are what one could call the love story for the ages, that will never die. 2/2

There is a story behind this one, I'm happy to share if anyone wishes to read it. Synistral and Seluna, they are a fairly sad couple at the moment, due to circumstances outside of their control. But they were inseparable when they first found each other and gave each other their hearts and vows. Synistral works for a rather underhanded group of villainy in Rogue Isles, Arachnos, as a widow. His expertise with psionics makes him quite valuable to the organization. 1/

To share a story I wrote told from my main characters perspective about her people and their history, or not.

Part 2 has been published. Trying to go page by page cause I'm still vibing it the outline for myself and trying to think two steps ahead. wattpad.com/story/328995267 noscrub

I'm curious if Wattpad is worth looking into for breaking into the writing field for fantasy fiction and romance? Asking cause I hadn't toyed with it yet and seen a few authors launch from it over the last couple years.

(Hubs pitched in to break the tie, taunt it is!)
You stop, digging your heels into the earth, suck in a deep breath and bellow as loudly as you can. "HEY, YOU WITH THE FART ON FIRE IN YOUR MOUTH!" You can hear a snuff and the crackle of foliage as something much larger than yourself comes to investigate. Henna let out a squeak and vanished with two snaps in the air. It appears your taunt has caught the attention of the dragon. But poor Henna.

A loud rumble ripped through the air, Henna darted out of your pouch to check it out for herself before letting out a tinny shout. "RUN!" What--? You turn and spot something in the air overhead, something massive! A flicker of fire at one end told you all you needed to know. Henna flew ahead of you like a lime torch light in the coming dusk fall. Branches whipped past you, slapping at you as you rush to keep up with the green fairy.
/14

(Coin flip! Lake we go!)
As you walk through the glades heading for the lake that Henna mentioned, you spot several long horned deer? No...horses? Henna chimes in following a rough burp. "Unicorns, we got a few herds that pass through here." Unicorns...first you'd seen of them. One of the larger unicorns of the herd stopped to look back at you, eyes as deep as the sea. Watchful, cautious. You watch as the herd leap for the forest line's shadowed safety.
/13

(Coin flip, split vote, 3 ways no less!) Kings, lake gods, what next? Henna wasn't about to answer further, seems she found a cracker in your pouch and was busily eating her fill. "Huh, well, guess I'm about to find out, aren't I.." You say to yourself as you start out of the tree. THANKFULLY the queen and her guards had left, or you might have gotten yourself and Henna into deep trouble. As you set feet on the ground, you ask yourself, where to now?
/12

Henna darts out of your pouch to lead the way, beckoning you to follow them to the hut entrance, pointing out the opening in the tree limbs. "About a stones throw that way, the queen said that we should keep a close watch for humans. Something about a lake god in the waters and handing out illegal swords..." Henna darts back into the pouch, muffled by the lid. "Something about kings and such. I wasn't paying much attention at the time."

(Coin flip! Split vote.)
You check your pouch guest and ask Henna about the guards and what they were talking about.
"Oh you know...general caution of strange visitors falling into our lake..."
"No I mean, really I found you half drowned in the lake. You were covered in muck, by the way. Your lucky I got it out of the clothes!"
"But yeah, the queen had orders for all of us to avoid contact with strangers. Well...you sort of fell into the lake we protect."
/10

You stay and listen from the shadows.
"The watchpost said she was here a bit ago, where did she go?"
"Maybe she had to duck out for some fresh water?"
"You know, you could be right."
"Yeah, but what if I'm wrong?"
"I guess we'll find out, eh? Come on, let's check the dewponds in the upper boughs."
Their wings buzzed right past the point of your right ear in the shadows, not even spotting you as they left the hut.
/9

You step back into the shadows inside of the hut as the guards duck into the opening, flitting about. One is a bright red glowing fairy and the other one is a light blue, twirling about the hut looking for Henna. The little green fairy in your pouch peeps out for a moment before you tap the lid closed quietly to keep her safe from being spotted. You can hear the chatter between the guards however as you watch and wait in the shadows.

(Coin flip!)
You quickly duck back into the hut, the queen completely missing your absence and more focused on shouting for Henna! The little green fairy staying quiet, tucked in your pouch as you explore the hut for a few moments longer while biding time in hopes the queen won't investigate the silence herself. "Lady Henna?" Uhoh, that's not the queen. Two guards had flitted into the tree boughs to investigate reports of a stranger!
/7

"She's here...shhh...you didn't see me!" Henna ducks beneath the lid of the pouch into hiding, the glow dimming from their little wings. You hear the dragonflies drone coming from the east, and as you turn to look, you can see an acorn cap chariot carrying a gold and silver glowing fairy, pulled by a train of eight dragonflies landing on a branch nearby. You swear you could hear some form of cursing as the fairy queen pulled herself out of the chariot.
/6

You speak to the fairy, asking it to join you. "My name is Henna, and no, no, the queen will take my head if she finds out...wait, maybe I should join you...she won't behead me if she can't find me, right right?" Henna darted into the pouch on your belt, the green glow dimming as you carefully brush the lid of the pouch closed. Henna chimes softly "Don't tell them I'm here, okay?" The drone of the dragonflies grow louder, closer by.
/5

You pull yourself up off the floor, the fairy screaming in it's high bell like note in your wake but you gave it no thought as you straighten your shirt, dust off your pants and step towards the equipment to lash the belt and sling the sheathed sword onto it, shouldering the shield before you look back to the fairy, it's panic had it dipping erratically around the room, zipping about! "Go go go, take it all, go!" You hear the drone of dragonflies coming.
