Tell me. Where did the outrage go that (R)'s once had about women's rights being taken away? Afghanistan, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries were once poopoo'd for their brutality and stance on women. Now all of a sudden, it's acceptable?

@Tacitus_Kilgore It's only bad if "foreign, weird, backwards" cultures/religions do it. But it is perfectly acceptable if it is evangelicalism.
@sentientdessert Seems to me it was only used as an excuse to go in and bomb these countries. It never really mattered.
@Tacitus_Kilgore It was as good a reason as any for the war mongers... when they see money from death, they'll make whatever reason they want to justify the outcome.
If religion were not profitable in this country, it would have fallen by the wayside long ago...
@sentientdessert I will remain silent on my feelings about religion this evening. I tend to get incensed and frustrated with this topic.

Organized religion on the other hand.
