So we've just launched our biggest yet. $25K goal for someone suffering from Neuroendocrine carcinoma stage 4. It's a rare type of cancer that affects the organs. It's currently in his liver and likely to spread. He was given around 5 years and it's said that around 3% make it that long.

If you are curious I will share the link.

@Idissent I fall out of my seat just dying with tears in my eyes laughing every time.

@Idissent Dick in the box skit (SNL) Oh and make sure you aren't drinking anything.

CoSo Pro will be the very last thing I give up, if I have to start doing that. I can’t imagine dealing with this stuff without this place, and you people, to help make it tolerable.

indeed

@mikeflstfi Oh I feel ya on that, even if I'm not super active, I will always squeeze a bit of blood to make sure I support this space.

@realDDGlover I have a weakness for the salted caramel popcorn myself. ;)

@Lucky188 @th3j35t3r Oh yeah for sure, I mean I'm the shy type in regards to knocking on the neighbors doors for help so I try to be polite and not disturb my neighbors if I can help it.

I'm beginning to suspect that Trump and by extension and association, his supporters....

Timothy, my son (8 yr old and just starting out as a cub scout) is trying to raise funds to be part of the scouting this year. If you'd like any kind of Trail's End treats, my son has a fundraiser shop page you can order from available to share or order to help support Scouting across the nation for boys and girls just like him. trails-end.com/store/scout/BUT

@Helical_Code @th3j35t3r Thank you Heli, I was just thinking to be safe and avoid it being labeled as spam or advertising, ya know? ^^

@th3j35t3r I just want to make sure it won't be any trouble to share his scout shop link here.

@th3j35t3r Quick question, can I post a scouting fundraiser shop link here? My son recently joined and I'm wanting to do all I can to support his troop and their scout activities for the year. ^^

@Lavransdattar They certainly were, I learned a lot from him and he from me. His wife as well by extension with handling the patient files I'm sure. I just hope that if he passes, it's not painful to him.

@LnzyHou Oh I know, he would rail against me grieving, at the moment he's not able to speak, paralyzed on the right side and barely able to speak even to his wife, but I left my door open to her to let her know that she has a friend to confide in and for support should she need another's perspective, and that I would not let her down.

I know that it is not normally to develop a friendship with your therapist, especially one you hold sessions with remotely, but please, don't discredit remote communication and the bonds that build from that. For some, it is a life line and it is as real as the bonds you shape in face to face friendships.

Out of the twelve therapist I've worked with in the last decade, he's the first one that saw me, for me and not as a case or condition to take apart, and I'll never forget that.
