@AskTheDevil My partner a few states over is very much like me but also not. Hard to explain but we've been each other's support and love in many life times but this would be the first that we've actually been able to make contact and meet in nearly two or three life times now.

@AskTheDevil I've had former coworkers try to encourage me to attend church instead of seeking mental health help because God and Jesus heals all except I left the church and that faith when I was fifteen and saw how poorly they treated anyone that was different. When life hands you a broke rod and expects you to live by it, break the rod and build your own road, that's what I say to that.

@AskTheDevil I agree. I didn't choose to be trans, I didn't choose to be a young mom, I didn't choose to be mentally ill, yet so many think that is all about choices. I came out because I knew I was finally safe with good people to do so, I gave my children life because I knew no other way to live and had no access to care to end those pregnancies earlier on, I took the road for self work to recover and heal from the abuse and trauma. It wasn't a choice, it was life or death.

The plus side about this dish, as it starts to cool down. You'll see it starting to firm up and soak up what extra water is left behind from simmering on the stove, it kind of develops these neat little ripples on the top whenever it cools down. This will probably go really well with strawberry, cherry, pears, maybe even Asian pears. I've been wanting to try Asian pears with this for a while. I'm not sure how it would handle with watermelon but I am willing to give it a shot.

Taste tested and kid approved. It's got the texture of a firm fruit, jelly and very slippery against the glass. It cuts very easily and very easy to portion out for portion control. The flavor not super heavy, and it reminds me of warm soft fruit gummies but not quite as sweet. I highly recommend trying this. I might try another fruit though. Peach is good but it's not a family favorite unfortunately.

@th3j35t3r *witchy applauds!* That recipe is amazing 🤣🤣🤣

Experimenting with agar-agar fruit jelly making, it tastes lovely without any added syrup. Only four tablespoons of sugar in the heated mix and the natural sugar from the no-syrup canned peaches.

No one has a right to erase the existence of others. No one.

Life advice from a guy that has had a ton of practice.

When someone near and dear to you is having a tough time. The only legitimate question you can ask is, "How can I help?" Then listen very carefully. Do not offer advise, unless directly asked for. Do not try to fix the problem. Your job is to give them your complete undivided attention.

Rarely is swift action called for.

Jewish staffer resigns from Biden administration over Gaza

“My Jewish identity is the most important part of who I am, and it is all of the values that I was raised with … and all of my Jewish education, 20 years of it, that led me to this decision, and it’s how I know this is right,” Greenberg Call said. “What Israel is doing to people in Gaza and to Palestinians across the land is incredibly un-Jewish to me and such a disgrace to our ancestors.”

Youtube music gave me a 2-week trial and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. If I could afford it I'll probably sub for it. But it's going to be a while before I can.

As for the rest of the awesome 🐥 on my feed, you keep on keeping on! I'm cheering for ya all!
