@MrsDanaD I understand the importance of last words, my grandmother and my mother both were kind people and there was a lot of things that was left unsaid between them and I when they passed away. I appreciate this message truly and I understand the depth of its meaning.
@MrsDanaD Thank you for sharing this Dana. A lot of times we forget that we only have so much time on this Earth and that we would be better as people spreading kindness and love.
Hey all; I’m not here as often anymore.
Still in a dark place too much of the time and don’t want to spread negativity.
This video is about my daughter, Courtney.
Please watch and share.

@mims take care!
@PurpleDragon @tyghebright I am sorry that you had to go back into hiding. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to deal with intolerance in the workspace. You're safe here with us.
@sentientdessert @PaganMother got this from someone else here on CoSo, and I hold it close to my heart now. Every time I hear “you must tolerate my intolerance” I remind myself of this:
@SandHillThicket You might wish to move the tomatoes out away from the potatoes. The acidity from the tomatoes can actually affect the potatoes growing.
@mims I know, it's one of the reasons why when I see younger folks that are lined up for representative offices and other positions in the political field. I do my research on them to see where their views lie and what they represent. I try to vote for the younger ones that actually fit for a more inclusive future.
@sentientdessert bingo bullseye Right on Target!
@mims She actually won the most recent election. I do believe that she is probably going to be in office for as long as she can because the changes she's enacted ever since she got into office had been hugely beneficial for the entire State and an example that other states should actually follow.
@mims My last letter to her I drew her attention to the hate groups that are organized here in Michigan and the need to find a way to dismantle them or reject their ideals from being presented as law in this state and country. I told her one of the many reasons that people don't feel safe in this state is because these groups still exist.
@mims Governor whitmer of Michigan.
@mims Love and light to you too Mims! I suppose the greater problem we have to look at is creating safe spaces where people can just be who they are to talk about these issues and work together for change. I've written three letters to my state Governor about some of the anti-trans legislation and every single time she's responded. I have to admit I never expected to hear back from her, but she's shown me that she's standing up for all of us and our voices are heard.
@Graci This so much this.
If you have to find out your kid is trans or non-binary, it's not the schools fault. The fact they felt more comfortable telling someone other than YOU makes it a YOU problem. Go look in a mirror for a while.
@PurpleDragon It's okay purple. I understand where you're coming from. Right now just living in America is hard. A lot of people say moving to a safe state is the answer, but the real answer lies in the hands of politicians. It's getting our voices heard our experiences understood that changes those hands decisions.
@mims Thank you, mims. For a lot of us, it's actually a kind of a scary time to even exist. Some of us mask to just preserve our existence behind closed doors.
This isn't just about trans women. This goes for the trans men too. Many of us were suppressed because of where we live. The multiple factors that we grew up around including lack of education and awareness of what being transgender is. For myself it took me 30 plus years to really understand who I am. I know there's some younger folks that had access to information and education about much earlier than I. Had I not masked for as long as I did in society, I wouldn't be here today. #transgender
