I will say this for the other little eggs out there. If someone comes out to you and tells you that they're not the gender that they present to as, don't be afraid of them. They feel safe with you to open up and hatch, support them. They trust you to talk about it. They trust you to listen and accept them. In all the research that's been done, You have the proof. Transgender care and surgeries do in fact improve the lives of many, there is less than 1% margin that are dissatisfied with their treatments, even less that detransition. Is there even a single study that proves this large of a margin of people being happy with who they are after their treatments? I am a trans man that is gender fluid in identity. Sometimes I feel feminine. Sometimes I feel masculine but at the core of it all I am a man in the wrong body. It's taking my mother-in-law about 3 years to really embrace that and I'm proud of the progress she's made to accept me. There are people here that don't want me to live as I am. My sister-in-law's boyfriend, for instance, has made it very clear that he's a bigot and very ill-informed. /2

Erin in the morning wrote an article that feel I need to speak on. Pornography is not why I came out of the closet as trans. After 30 some odd years I finally live in a safe place where I can look back on why I was pushed back into the closet and dismantle the trauma from it. My husband and my son and my in-laws have proven to be the most supportive and accepting people I have ever encountered in my entire life. I came out 4 years ago to my husband first and then to my son. /1

@HealingHobbit I've been keeping a close eye on this case myself because I was a victim of CSA. If I can help stop a circle of abuse and harm to other youths I'm going to do what I can to make sure I can stop it.

@HealingHobbit there are other victims that are coming forward about what she has done to them in the last couple years and many of them have been harassed out of Troth because of how tightly connected the board and Paxson is. Many of them view her as a dear friend or mentor and have handwaved and victim blamed the survivors that stepped forward.
