The worst part about this is that she had been actively complicit for the last 10 years for this kind of abuse and it had been buried and silenced by The Troth themselves. I do not support the Troth but I do support their decision to remove her and eject her from the heathen community.

If you own any books by Diana paxson, I would suggest taking a very deep dive on what's been going on with Grayhaven. She has been officially removed and defrocked by The Troth as of tonight. What's more is that she was complicit in the abuse of multiple children and teens on her premises and did nothing to stop it from happening under her roof. She was recently physically attacked by a CSA survivor. thetroth.org/official-announce

My son now owns two roosters, their names together is bonsai. One is named Bon and the other one is Sai. They are a bonded pair of brothers and we adopted them from a foster farm nearby. He's learning the responsibilities of taking care of the animals in our home.

@Warpspeed1 Take care of yourself, Warp okay? Don't let yourself endure the pain too long.

@Warpspeed1 I do think that most dental offices offer a sliding payment scale. If you're in the low income bracket, I would recommend speaking to the office workers at the dental office to see if that's possible.

@Warpspeed1 As someone that was trained in the dental industry, I hope this helps. No one should have to suffer just because they can't pay for it.

@Warpspeed1 here I did some poking around and I think this might help with finding a way to cover the other root canal you need. uslowcostdental.com/list/

Oh and to explain the symbolism with the dog and the cat, the cat. Her name is Hera. She was 14 years old when she passed away in her sleep from old age. Mom took it really really hard and it took her a while to be able to actually open her heart again to cats. The one on the right the dog is Sheba, a Malamute mutt that she adopted that was wandering the roads about 11 years ago, she passed away a couple years ago and she was the first I was allowed to give last rites to before she passed.

@Bix I'm so sorry.. I wish they were more prompt with handling repairs like that.

(Curiously enough, I found out she's been donating to lgbtq support organizations and charities to fight legislation. Go Mom!)

@Bix Bleh.. they should contact Comcast to repair it.

"Thank you. It's such a simple phrase, but there's so much meaning and love behind these words. I mean it from the bottom of my heart, even if I am a bit of an autistic brat. Mel." 4/4

"Mom, I lost my mother in 2004 and I never really got to grieve the loss. But you stepped up and filled her place in a big way. I'm not very good with speaking my feelings, but to write it out, now that I excel at. I love you as I did my own mother. I wanted to thank you for literally everything you've done for us as a family. For guiding us, for supporting us, for loving us unconditionally."/3

"Mom, that's a word a lot of us speak when we're just starting to learn how to talk. It's a word that holds a lot of meaning and not a lot of people really realize that being a mom is more than just being a person raising a child, It's about supporting them, guiding them, teaching them, and loving them unconditionally. It's a word that we all too often forget the full meaning of as we get older."/2

So made a card for mil with a note inside and a bunch of LGBTQ org stickers to gift her I had sitting going to disuse. As for the note inside.. in the replies. 1/
