It is difficult talking to someone that has only been fed the lies from the right with regards to the trans community... heraring the "they're performing surgeries on children" lie repeated and they're unwilling to accept their sources lied to them...
Tried to get him to see that it is the same kind of othering people from his faith went through early on...
They lie about the people different because they need to other someone... if it wasn't trans people it would be gays, or races...
@sentientdessert they elevate themselves by erasing, insulting and lying others. I don’t know how to explain it…I just avoid them. 🥴
