It's more than a lot alarming how so much of what they do seems to be straight out of Orwell's "1984".
I swear, it's almost like they're using dystopian fiction as instruction manuals. I mean I'm pretty sure they're not, just because so many of their key figures are functionally illiterate, but it would explain a lot.
