It's that simple.

@TheAbbotTrithemius yes, Trafalgar is laughable garbage...and 538 hides behind the guise of 'probability', which by their definition is never wrong, because probability isn't a prediction. And everything, literally EVERYTHING is based on cheap, flawed polling data.

This is coming from a place of kindness, but whenever I hear some variant of, "I am not afraid to speak my mind", I hear "I am completely inconsiderate."

By all means speak your mind, but don't try to disclaim the consequences beforehand. Growth means considering how your words impact others.

@crabulous you can suppress tags in the filters at the top of each column, although I'm sure you meant suppressing more than a single topic.

You can suppress multiple tags in each column!

@LKNWoman @SentinelOfTruth we must be willing to ask ourselves the hard questions.

As they say, find the truth in your opponents argument, and you will find the flaw in your own.

One of my fave quotes (paraphrased) is the purpose of debate is not victory but progress and for 15+ years, I couldn’t remember who to attribute it to and then I saw @SentinelOfTruth profile with a quote (not MY quote) by Joseph Joubert and my brain went THAT’S IT! THAT’S THE GUY! And I feel like a weight has been lifted, because Joubert is, in fact, the guy. 👏🏻🥲

One of the biggest weaknesses for IT security? People not realizing the lengths someone will go to to steal your data or break into your network.

For some people, it's literally a life-or-death scenario.

New social app. ? Looking for techy folks... cloud, PowerShell, infra, etc.

@Amyfb sharepoint is fine. Most Microsoft apps are great - it's Teams that is the problem there.

For collab, Zoom, Slack, pretty much anything web based is fine. The issue with Teams is the attempt to scan, store and monitor your private data.

@Amyfb yes. Teams attempts to get it's hooks into everything.

It's pretty much malware. There are plenty of collaborative tools that don't risk you or your company's private data.

@FlamerHooks if you scroll down the column slightly, it will pause

Oh, and as an added vulnerability, most Teams installations are so lax that anyone on your Teams network can turn on your mic without you knowing it, and listen in.

This is even MORE true if your company handles Personally Identifiable Data, health data, financial data, etc.

Quick note on data security - you and your organization should NEVER use Microsoft Teams.

Teams attempts to track, analyze and store everything you do (not just in Teams, but in Outlook, web, docs, voice meetings) - it tracks who was on the email (or in meeting), what the topic was, what each person said.

If does this in order to create 'performance metric scores'. Oh, and all of that data it's gleaning is going off network to their servers.

@you_mountebank yes, you open the 'filter' icon at the top of a columns, toggle on 'Include additional tags for this column' and then enter the tags you want.

You can also filter OUT tags!
