I walked to the dollar tree today to get some decorating supplies for my inpatient nursing unit (because I am that coworker.) On my way back there is a bookstore and a BMV (among other things.) Outside the BMV were about 4 militia-looking dudes in tactical gear and armed to the teeth. Isn’t the BMV a government agency where weapons are disallowed on the premises?

Also… wtf? It’s northeast Ohio.

Trying for some mindfulness this morning. But isn’t it interesting, that word, mindfulness?

My mind is already so full! Just full of things that are the opposite of that which would soothe. 😓

@gemswinc can’t do chiropractic. My cervical and thoracic spine cannot under any circumstances be adjusted. Too many full and partial fusions.

Well shit. My neuromuscular ultrasound was freaking fine. Which means the problems I’m having with my right wrist and hand are most likely a complication in my neck. 😖 I cannot do another neck surgery. 🥺

@danielbsmith oh we absolutely got one with the safety net. I am a ball of anxiety and safety fanatic. I am feeling encouraged that it’s not too terrible to put together. Hubs and I are going to tackle it together on a school day before her birthday.

This morning my daughter came to me and asked if she could have a first aid kit and some mints in her school backpack.

So yeah. #Preparedness passed down.
