This is similar to my butter cookie recipe, though I use 2/3C sugar, 2-1/2C flour, replace the second tsp of vanilla with 1/2 tsp almond extract, and add 1 tsp cinnamon. Great rolling cookie, holding up well to children's warm hands and rerolling:
