The weirdest thing about the discourse around the Halo series is nerd whipping themselves into a frenzy over how "bad" it is.

Halo was always gonna be a popcorn series. It's perfectly good for what it is. A tribute to the source material and extended universe while also being accessible to the newcomer.

I've watched way worse.

For as much of a bummer it is that the USS The Sullivan's is in terrible disrepair and in danger of being lost, we are getting some cool stories of people going above and beyond to save her.

Your periodic reminder that for all the disdain electronic music can get, few songs can match (Finished) Symphony by Hybrid (1996?!!).

It's just a masterclass in playing with a similar structure and subverting expectations until the payoff at 7:15ish.

All these years later, it's not much that can stand shoulder to shoulder with this monumental track.
