Don’t spend ANY of your precious time and life force reading, watching, or listening to the glee of those who praise this election outcome.
Not everyone who voted for DJT is like this, of course.
But for those who are spitefully pleased? Turn them off in your mind.
They’ve gained so much—don’t give that part of you away.

I think I am done venting because my body reminded me this morning that I am old.
One day, people are gonna realize the everlasting harm that the War on Terror caused on the home front.
One day people will realize how much damage unchecked access to PsyOp tactics, materials, and SOPs caused to this country.
Because whooo boy if you don't think that Eric Prince and Mike Flynn and other RW junior officers (like Posobiec) haven't been following the playbook we had for the Iraqis/Afghanis
It works here because those who have the power want in on the grift instead.

@insomniacviolin Imma be honest. I was mostly used to the two Americas.
I am pretty good at spotting the key words that tip me off to who a person is.
But it's something about the sheer percentage of white people who voted trump this election that makes it all feel different, especially after how racist the campaign got this time around.
Based on the results from 24 hours ago, if I'm in a room with 10 white Americans, half of them sign off on mind boggling racism.
It's a bridge too far.
All I got to say is this and i'm back to biting my tongue:
You are best to realize that this... election, it's going to break the typical support systems and old reliable African American democratic voting patterns.
You aren't going to see more people voting for trump, but best believe you are going to see historic levels of apathy from this community in 2026 and 2028.
Good luck I guess.
Maybe time heals this, but I haven't seen my community ever reach this point of us going eff off y'all gonna find out the hard way.
You are going to see the African American community retreat into our own spaces and pretty much sit out these fights for a while.
It doesn't matter.
Groups chasing "model minority" status, we're gonna laugh at you when white supremacy pulls the rug from under you again. Look at how they used the Asians students to repeal affirmative action.
We needed y'all to show up.
You didn't.
So right now, if you aren't in the personal circles or Twitter or whatever (and you definitely aren't being invited at this point) you aren't hearing or seeing how betrayed we feel.
So what's happening is that a lot of us are giving up on you.
We show up for support for Israel.
We show up for support for Gaza.
We offer support when your town floods.
When you actually feel injustice against you.
But in the reverse? Crickets.

I've been sitting on this for the better part of two years hoping to find the most diplomatic way to broach the subject.
At this point screw it, you get what I say raw and unfiltered.
Your black friends, family members, co-workers etc likely feel pretty betrayed by you right now.
Having Trump win because of a couple thousand voters in a swing state, eh we dealt with racism years.
