My best guess is something like Linkin Park and maybe Disturbed? But I don't think Disturbed ever got popular enough to be considered mega band level.

Beavis and Butt-Head came out in 1993. They were wearing AC-DC and Metallica shirts.

AC-DC started getting popular in the late 70s. Metallica in the early 80s.

There was a Beavis and Butt-Head movie released recently, but their shirts didn't change. Using this time frame of roughly 15ish years ago from the date of this post), so late 2000s, which band would be on 2022's Beavis's and Butt-Head 's shirts.
