Much respect to Paddy. He just earned a new fan. Anyone who can be humble and still admit to having emotions and fears when they are an incredible fighter is okay by me.
@corlin the point is to confuse people and muddy the waters.
Most people aren't going to realize that the 15 week ban is a maximum. States can still make the ban as draconian as they want.
It's a slight of hand that's all it is.

Feeling a little salty about the folks who behave badly then whine on about their consequences.
If you get banned from CoSo, you EARNED it and have no valid basis for complaint.
It’s like complaining about a restaurant after soiling in your own meal. It’s not the restaurant’s fault you’re gross.
@evistre @Phyrexian_Memelord I didn't even know they were still making cassette tapes when Meteora came out.
Never Forget should be all encompassing, viewing all of the negative and positive events borne from unspeakable tragedy.
Never Forget has to become more than just a slogan to remember the one day that changed the course of an entire planet.
Never Forget has to return to being about understanding the ongoing cost to humanity - to this day, 21 years later.
Take care of yourselves. Call (yes, actually call) your friends
Never Forget.

civilians and military members, who have lost loved ones. Those who have watched their first responder loved one wither away due to inhalation of toxic fumes - a cruel gift given to those who would risk their lives to help others.
It should include those who have watched their lives spiral out of control for no reason, those wrecked by guilt and shame. Those wrecked by regret and those who would die indirectly due to the events of 9/11. Either by their own hand, or by others.

Never Forget should be an acknowledgement of the butterfly effect this singular event had on hundreds of millions of people on this planet.
Never Forget should include the millions of Iraqis, Afghanis, and countless other souls in countries ravaged by the he war on terror.
Never Forget should include the tens of thousands of soldiers, US and allied, who have been killed or seriously injured over the span of multiple decades.
Never Forget should include the shared trauma from both (cont.)
Over the years my sentiment on 9/11 has changed many times. Anger, resolve, regret, and confusion were just some of the multitude of feelings.
Similarly, the rallying call of "Never Forget" has morphed from a unifying cry for a shocked and angry nation into a statement that is overused and almost thoughtlessly stated.
I want to change that outlook this year. Never Forget should be more than just the ~3,000 souls who tragically died in a heinous terrorist attack

@singlemaltgirl I am only on there because I realized that I cut myself off at the knees for years by not networking well enough. So I keep up just so that hopefully I don't have to job search, a networking contact will clue me in to a job that would be a great fit instead.
@nblumengarten @singlemaltgirl see instead of RIP queen, now I am all RIP Grantland.
Comedian Kyle Kinane tells a story about how a fan page on Facebook for Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits devolved into post after post about Michael Jackson's death: https://grantland.com/features/a-scumbag-story-kyle-kinane-comedy-central-drunk-history-standup-whiskey-icarus/
@killagator looks like a sci-fi movie and either a big ass explosion is about to happen, a demon just got summoned, or a planet is about to b destroyed.
USMC Vet and dad. Sarcastic with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
