Happy Indictment Day to all those who celebrate!! 😹 Between this and the surprising good outcome of a voting rights case at SCOTUS today, it’s been an awesome day! I’ve been thinking all week that another indictment this week would be a fun early birthday present for me. Woohoo!! 🎉🎂🎈

Each of our last 5 bike rides has resulted in a higher average speed than the one before it (and a new highest average speed for 2023), starting with last Sunday’s ride and following through to yesterday’s 14-miler, even though the heat and humidity have gone up a bit. @BrazenlyLiberal I hear you! When we’ve had the loss of multiple older kitties close together like that, it just makes the house feel off somehow, even though we’ve still had some other older kitties (who we absolutely adore!) still with us. It’s not like you ever fully get over the sadness of losing furry family members, but when new ones come in, at least the sadness lifts a bit. These 2 are super entertaining a lot of the time, too. 😺

@Teej_Muk I’m sorry about Pipsqueak. 😿 Yes, we’ve adopted in pairs (and in one case 3 at once) a few times now and we think it’s just so great for the new ones to enter the house with a buddy when there are older kitties for them to meet and get used to. We’re not sure if these 2 are littermates, but they were rescued together and while awaiting adoption, they never wanted to be away from each other. They’re so close and have similar behaviors, so we’re guessing they are littermates. 😻

@BrazenlyLiberal Yep! They were a bonded pair, so Mauhaus wasn’t going to separate them. 😺 We were looking for a pair after losing 2 senior kitties last spring.

One year ago, we adopted the adorable Phoebe and Joey (formerly Honeycomb and Mango) from Mauhaus Cat Cafe. They have been wonderful additions to our home and we love them both so much!! They’re playful, sweet, a little wild & oh so cute. 😻💜💛 #CoSoCats #CatsOfCoSo #CaturdayEve #CoSoCaturdayEve
