Since I’m just doing a staycation for the week of my birthday this year, we were able to take advantage of the absolutely gorgeous weather (80° and blue skies) and take a birthday bike ride today, after not being able to on my ~100°-degree birthday last year. We managed to take our longest ride of 2023 (so far) and didn’t do a bad job on time, despite a lot of wind! Yay!! #AnotherYearOlderButNotSlowerYet 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️🎂🎈🎉 #KatyTrail #Cycling

@Stonekettle I always treat June 13th like a holiday since it’s my birthday (for example, even if we don’t have a big vacation planned, I vowed long ago never to work on my birthday, so I usually take a few days or the week off for the occasion), but I’d take a new federal holiday on this date, just to make it official! 😺
