The kitty farmhouse picture features both Roscoe (on the top level) and Theo (on the bottom level). It’s fitting since I just bought this toy/scratcher/house with a Chewy birthday coupon in honor of their upcoming 4th birthday (they’re littermates). We assembled it Thursday and it was an instant hit, particularly with Roscoe, who has spent most of the last few days in there! 😺 The picture of Roscoe looking outside also features his younger sister Phoebe. 👍🏼

@JeniRizio Oh, and our kitty from my #CoSoCaturday post from this weekend, Fiona, may not necessarily look like a tortie point in some of her pics, but she has these tiny little splashes of light orange fur on a few of her paws and she has a hint of it in the flame spot in between her eyes. It was totally unexpected to see those bits of orange. When we adopted her at almost 6 months old, she was still mostly cream colored with some brown on her points. She changed a lot in her first year or so!

@JeniRizio Well, not a standard tortie. We have 1 dilute calico, 1 regular calico and 1 tortie-point ragdoll mix (she’s today’s #CoSoCaturday star). We used to have a tortie named Tabitha, but she passed in early 2019 due to cancer.

@JeniRizio Vincent & Roscoe (the black cat next to him in one pic) aren’t a bonded pair, but they get along well. Roscoe came along w/his brother & foster sister 13 years after we adopted Vinnie. He & Bryan (the orange guy he’s sleeping on in the other pic) are super bonded at this point. We adopted them only weeks apart in 2006 & they’re 6 months apart in age (both 17 now). They love each other & are the last of our older generations of cats. Vinnie & Bryan get along well with everyone. 😺

The ride we finished earlier this evening wasn’t our fastest time or longest ride, of course, but we topped ourselves this week in one way. We rode our bikes 7 days in a row, which is a record! There were a few 10-milers, a couple of 12-milers and a 14-miler, and we were able to average 14.7 mph 3 rides in a row this week. We just started and we’re now at about 90 miles biked for the year already! When the weather is perfect, as it has been all week, we have to go, and so we did! 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️ #Cycling

@Catzly It definitely is! We were looking for a bonded pair when we adopted he and Phoebe last June, and it’s so evident that the rescue group/cat cafe made the right decision in insisting they had to be adopted together. We can’t imagine them separated. He’s also really sweet to his big brothers and is OK with his big sisters most of the time. 😺

I started this excellent book (my 5th this year) during the 2nd half of Women’s History Month (perfect timing) & finished it last night. If you’re like me, you may not have heard much, or anything, about the 4 women profiled in this book beyond Betty White, but it was super interesting & educational. I highly recommend it if you’re into pop culture & women’s history. 👍🏼📺
