One year ago, we adopted the adorable Phoebe and Joey (formerly Honeycomb and Mango) from Mauhaus Cat Cafe. They have been wonderful additions to our home and we love them both so much!! They’re playful, sweet, a little wild & oh so cute. 😻💜💛 #CoSoCats #CatsOfCoSo #CaturdayEve #CoSoCaturdayEve
@GEAUXJayna Two sweeties🥰
@VelvetDuchess They really are! 😻
@BrazenlyLiberal Yep! They were a bonded pair, so Mauhaus wasn’t going to separate them. 😺 We were looking for a pair after losing 2 senior kitties last spring.
That's what we did when our 2 beagles died from old age issues. We waited a bit, then contacted rescues telling them we were looking for a bonded pair. We ended up with a mother and son and couldn't be happier.
@BrazenlyLiberal I hear you! When we’ve had the loss of multiple older kitties close together like that, it just makes the house feel off somehow, even though we’ve still had some other older kitties (who we absolutely adore!) still with us. It’s not like you ever fully get over the sadness of losing furry family members, but when new ones come in, at least the sadness lifts a bit. These 2 are super entertaining a lot of the time, too. 😺
Their eyes are gorgeous! 😍
@see_the_sus Thanks! We agree. 😻
@GEAUXJayna
Happy petiversary to your clowder 💙🐾🎉
@publickovacs They thank you!! 😺
@GEAUXJayna
Cat pairs are the best! We adopted Pipsqueak and Saliah back in 2011. They cuddled together a lot but had such different personalities (and even body types) as littermates. Pipsqueak died a few years ago but Saliah's ears still alert when she hears her sister's name.
Congrats all around for all involved in your family!
@Teej_Muk I’m sorry about Pipsqueak. 😿 Yes, we’ve adopted in pairs (and in one case 3 at once) a few times now and we think it’s just so great for the new ones to enter the house with a buddy when there are older kitties for them to meet and get used to. We’re not sure if these 2 are littermates, but they were rescued together and while awaiting adoption, they never wanted to be away from each other. They’re so close and have similar behaviors, so we’re guessing they are littermates. 😻
I forgot my #GotchaDayAnniversary tag here. 😺
