It didn't occur to me until last night's CoSo call, that J does all of the work, handles all the hassle, takes a financial hit, all so we can come here and share stuff from our lives and support each other if we so choose. He doesn't really have that choice. He can't share super troubling things he might be experiencing, or talk about life, or get the same level of life support we do if he wanted.

I didn't catch them in the photo, but when a flock of windblown white shorebirds cascade across your view to announce the storm...in Colorado...pay attention. Stuck here at Goat Patch Brewery until I can get back on the bike - home is into the storm. There are worse fates.

Local beach in PR. Looks crowded, but well spaced. Masks to and from parking. Music, food, tranquillo - with extra energy. 🏖️
PR on a weekend "crowded beach". There are a lot of people, but...mostly pods of people in or out of the water. Masks mostly just from car to beach. PR is pretty agressive at stores, etc. Temp taken and sanitizer b4 entry. Airport full of PPE clad welcome folks who register you and temp/sani you and check you've had a negative test w/in 72 hrs. They didn't care if you had your "vaccine passport" at all. All in all good effort at covid control on the island.
