@Jsabinas
A gentle nudge to let you know Iโ€™m thinking of you. Thinking back and knowing how tough these days after chemo are for you. Wishing all to be well right now. ๐Ÿ’œ

Okay, hadn't seen it B4. pretty cute.
And when a Little Steven et. al. show up for a Christmas movie, I'm in.

Just a reminder that this is a community run site. Here we are not the product. Please consider going pro or otherwise donating so that @th3j35t3r can pay the elves when things go pear shaped. Also so that we can keep the lights on generally and make sure that J gets some reward for the hard work, innovation and general genius that he brings to this wonderful place.

Thank you

Our friends in the UK wanted to do something nice for us while we quarantined and waiting for test results so decided to send us a cocktail. No less than a bacon infused, maple old fashioned.

They sent us the instructions, then the deliveries started arriving. Four Roses Small Batch, bacon, oranges, bitters and maple syrup. I rendered the bacon, fat washed the bourbon, double boiled it at 65c, refrigerated overnight and then made the cocktail this afternoon. It was outstanding.

So is it just me or does it seem like Indianapolis gets all the CoSoCom attention?

Have to save room for pie. ๐Ÿฅง๐Ÿ˜†

If you're a politician issuing thanks via email today you really shouldn't tie it to a donate here button.

Just a thought.

Today is my mom's birthday. She would have been 99. She passed in 2011, and I was unable to see her in time - though had been down to see her 6 months prior. She was always a decent human being, a tiny little thing, a good heart and a good mother. I am so very lucky. I know others aren't.

Good morning all. It's a brisk but tolerable 19ยฐ out there. Coffee in hand. Two scoops of Seattle's best Post Alley with a scoop of New Mexico Pinion coffee in the press. Too thin on its own, the Pinion adds a nice flavor.

too bad the stock market doesn't reflect the real economy. it only reflects the money corporations and the rich are making by keeping wages and jobs suppressed. Wages and jobs are the real economy. F**k stocks.

Oh, yeah, flax seed too. I tend to throw everything in. I do the same when I make oatmeal itself, even down to throwing an egg in like egg drop soup, especially when single pot cooking while camping/backpacking.

Peanut butter oatmeal corncakes, topped with molasses, maple ๐Ÿ syrup, yogurt, and homegrown eggs OE.

An hour later, working on second cup and first functioning thoughts.

Morning all, pre-dawn dark still. Workin up the motivation to get coffee going...

Oh, and please welcome my friend @willowweaves to CoSo community with all the appropriate fanfare.
