I just put out about 15lbs of bird seed, 2lbs of meal worms and 3 suet cakes.

I bet it's gone by the end of the week! lol

Welp. We have to pull up a good portion of the flooring we put down yesterday, cause the subfloor is uneven and the laminate is bouncing. :( Uneven subflooring seams, that we didn't notice.
Adventures in home remodeling! It's been a learning process, that's for sure.

I watch all shows/movies with captions on. I can tell when it's "auto" generated vs human. I notice some captions leave out "extra" words. Like in Gilmore Girls. The dialog is so fast pace, so many words, the captions don't keep up, or aren't verbatim. For GGs specifically, I feel like that's a loss for the viewer who NEEDS the captions, cause there is SO much in the dialog.

No point to this, really. Just rambling into the void...! lol

Annnnd in the hubbub of getting Tormund in so I could bathe him....Aslan got out. And I didn't notice till now. So, Aslan, an indoor cat for his whole life, got to spend about 45mins outside, all on his own. *sigh* At least I got him back in....

Started off my morning by having to wash poop off/out of Tormunds fur. I didn't even get to have coffee first!

The day HAS to go up from here, right?! Or is it a sign of things to come!? lol 😕

I'm surprised how little I've heard fireworks so far this year. Usually it's all day, everyday, for the 3 days before the 4th and for 3-5 days after.

I've head some twice. A large "display" late Saturday night, and a few pops and whizbangs Sunday. Nothing today.

The compressor died though, so Mr didn't get to put the trim back on like he wanted to. 😕

Hubby ordered the new Hocus Pocus LEGO set for me, for my birthday!! (Its Monday, not Tuesday like I thought) I'm soooo excited! 😁😁😁

I am trying to find an automatic/electronic doggie door, that operates off collars (so my cats don't get out) but I have only found two, and they are both too big for the space we want to put it. Rats.
Anyone have any suggestions on allowing doggos to come and go, but keeping MewMews in?

So that's 2 birds. 1 snake. And now a baby bunny on his kill list.

Yet, he hasn't killed a single mole. Which is the main reason we got him. lol *sigh* Dang dog!!!

I turn 41 on Tuesday. 😣 Trying to not think about it. If I forget, then all I gotta do is hope Mr forgets, then the day can pass without recognition. Then I stay 40, right?? RIGHT?! lol :(

I am terrified of the dentist. I think I've lost part of a filling, between two molars. It happened awhile ago, and was never a problem. Until now. There's some soreness when I chew. I know I should make an appointment. I know I'll feel better once it's fixed. But I just can't do it. I'm hoping the pain goes away...Logically I know it won't. Medical trauma is really fucking tough, man.
