All the flowering cherry trees in town are bloomin! Makes me happy. Spring has sprung! :D

It was so warm yesterday, I slept with the window open. All night, the frogs have been singing the songs of their people! A chorus of croaking lulled me to sleep.

I want ONE more good snow, then I am ready for Spring! I want to get into my garden, so badly!

It hit 64.6°f today. That's just not right! It's January! Middle of winter!

2 hour delay for the kids this morning. All we got last night, was rain. At 29-30*. Rain. It did not freeze on the pavement, but did ice up on the snow.

I was really wanting more snow. Maybe February.

Another canceled school day for my kiddos! We still have snow from Thurs/Fri.

Got above freezing for a bit yesterday, so there was melting, then it froze HARD again last night (it's 13*f currently), so side roads are a mess!

And since I live rural, ALL roads are side roads! lol

It is a VERY clear, VERY cold morning in my neck of the woods. 9.9*f!

Low of 9.9*F overnight. Currently sitting at 15.4*F and the pipes in our wellhouse have frozen up, so, no water. *sigh* There are two space heaters in there, but I guess it just wasn't enough.

It's gone from 18.0*F to 15.3*F in an hour. That is just crazy! Thankful we seem to be avoiding most of the wind, so not much wind chill!

Might get more snow on Saturday! 🤞

Currently 18.0*F with a Dew Point of 8.8*F.

It's cold!! lol

It started snowing around 8:30pm, its now 2:30am and still coming down!!!!

I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!

Looks like the kids will be having a 4 day weekend! lol

Hubbs confirmed it's VERY icy on the roads. Said there were cars in ditches all over and that he even got a lil sideways.

Hopefully it's better by 9!

I guess it must be icy out, cause the school district has decided to call a 2 hour late start, 30 mins before busses start running. Talk about last minute! They are usually really good about calling right at 5am.

The NWS in Seattle has given us a range of 0-14 inches of snow as a possible forecast for the weekend. Lmao I understand why, but for those that don't follow the weather models, it's very confusing. Lol

It's currently snowing, but it's the super wet, not sticking, kind of snow. 34* snow.

It's looking like we are not going to get our big snowfall this weekend. :( Everything is trending south, to southern Oregon. Sad.

We did not lose power overnight! But man, when that front came through.....I thought I was gonna lose a window! lol

Now, onto the snowstorm(s)......? Maybe. Probably. lol

About as prepped as I can be, for the impending wind and maybe snow storm(s) heading our way.
Fixin' to be a wild week of weather here in the !

The NWS in Seattle has issued a blizzard warning for the Cascades and the Olympics. It's been over 11 years since they last issued one! I'd never seen that color on their little map before! Lol

If the models are correct, we are in for some crazy weather here in the .

We got high winds coming Mon-Tues, then after Wednesday temps plummet! Possibility of single digits in some areas!

Getting prepped today. Making sure we have plenty of pellets for the stove, propane for the generator, and batteries in the flashlights and that all my laundry is done!

Squeeeee!!!!! I know it could change, and probably will, but just seeing the chance in the forecast makes me giddy!!
