Welp. We have to pull up a good portion of the flooring we put down yesterday, cause the subfloor is uneven and the laminate is bouncing. :( Uneven subflooring seams, that we didn't notice.

@Evereigh

We put down subfloor in one room that didn't stay put (it's been fine elsewhere). Seemed fine for awhile, but the foundation is screwed up, especially that area. We had foundation work done years ago, but this area is shot. So we have to rip out the flooring, apply a leveler, and start it all over again.

@Evereigh our sub is 40 year old cement and vinyl flooring. The bamboo floats and shifts; depending on the weather, clicks in some places. No amount of padding will make it even.

@floryloughead Our subfloor is even for the most part. It's wood. But there are just a few spots where the seams aren't level. 3 spots so far. We still have to pull up the carpet in the front half of the house, so who knows what that will be like. The bouncing of the laminate is VERY noticeable, if it weren't, we'd say "fuck it" and leave it. Lol :(
