So, I LOVE the new laminate floors we put in. They are beautiful and make such a huge difference in how the house looks/feels. But......

I cannot keep them clean, for the life of me! I can see every lil paw print! I can FEEL the grit and dirt. I sweep. I run the Roomba daily. I steam mop and wet Swiffer. And yet, the dogs bring in dirt faster than I can clean it!

I need to train them to wipe their dang paws.....

Stress and anxiety over money. Our household makes over $200k a year, and we still live paycheck to paycheck.

We were doing just fine for awhile....then all this inflation. Gas is over $5/gallon here in Washington. Two kids doing Homecoming and Prom and Theater and wanting to drive.

We found a rat living in the engine of the Passat that is sitting in the backyard. Which is one of the cars we need to fix up for said kids. *sigh* Time to sell feet pics on OF, I guess...lol

I did not sleep well last night and am feeling a bit yuck this morning.

I think it's anxiety related. Stupid brain. Hopefully an extra dose of tincture today will help. #Anxiety

I keep thinking it's Thursday.

Imagine my disappointment when I realize it's only Tuesday......

Some of the "decisions" he's made, whether implemented or not, just do NOT make sense. It's like he's purposely trying to kill Twitter.

Had a panic attack yesterday after watching what's happening in Israel, on the news.

It had been bubbling for a bit, so it wasn't JUST cause of that, but it was the proverbial straw....*sigh*

Pinterest sends me an email, saying one of my pins violated their "adult content" rules, but they reinstated the pin, and to be more careful in the future....But they don't tell me WHAT pin it was that was a "violation".

I pin shit like food, house stuff, clothes.....I have NO idea what pin could have rustled their jimmies.... Stinkin Pinterest....smh

Is there a way I can block random people (bots, spam, phishing) from sending me things in Google Drive? I "report and block" as they come in, but can I prevent it?

It's been a thing this week and I'd like it to stop.

Tormund got out of the yard, and OF COURSE I wasn't home. Thankfully I have kind neighbors who saw him and put him back and also fixed the fence board that came loose. *sigh* Dogs, man....

So, I guess my BIL is having a kid. With his GF. His first, her fourth (3rd Baby Daddy...but whatever). Of course since we (hubbs and I) aren't on FB, we haven't actually been told the news. BIL never really wanted kids, so, I am not sure why this is happening..lol Oh well. Not my circus, not my monkeys!

I found motivation to clean SOME of the bathroom. lol My back says "NO!" to shower scrubbing today....

I really, REALLY need to find the motivation to do anything other than sit around and watch tv/play video games today. My bathroom needs attention. I HATE cleaning bathrooms.

It's looking like we are going to hit 80*F this weekend and that makes me sad. It's October, Mother Nature....I allowed these shenanigans in September, but I will NOT stand for it in October!!! *shakes tiny fist* #PNW #WAWX

Today would have been my Moms 69th birthday. (Nice) She only made it to 62.

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is the cancer that took her.

Ordered a book from Amazon, that I was really excited about getting. Was supposed to be here Saturday.

Nope.

It arrived at the facility in Fife at 4:30pm Saturday....30mins later it's "Delayed in transit." Every single time I have an issue with an Amazon delivery....The package comes from the Fife facility. Fife to Puyallup, 9/10 times, I don't get my package. Frustrating!

Trying to deal with a wasp nest, that is inside a wall, without cutting a hole in said wall. I doubt we will be successful, but I really don't have the extra moolah for an exterminator. Frickin stupid wasps. Ya got a forest full of trees and stumps and shit, stay outta my house!

I've started doing my own nails recently. (Went to salons for YEARS, but it's just gotten too expensive) and the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel is my new favorite.

I did them Thursday morning, and they haven't chipped at all yet! No UV light needed either, so another plus. #Beauty

It got cold last night! Hubbs didn't shut windows before he went to bed, so the house is only 59*. lol Thankful for the pellet stove!
