Never thought I'd see an arrest happen.

I am having a hard time accepting the current prices of groceries. $189 at Safeway and another $487 at Walmart. This is what I am spending, on average, every 2 weeks now. For four humans and four pets. Ridiculous!

Reading any kind of political related news, makes me feel like we're all being Punk'd or on Candid Camera. I read some of this shit, and I just......I'm in disbelief. Utter disbelief that this is real. I want off this timeline.

Anxiety started to elevate yesterday, so I hopped into The Sims, and built a cozy little cottage. A place I go to in my mind, when my anxiety starts to bubble. It worked amazingly well, to calm my mind. #Gaming

I just....want to sit in a cozy nook, with a book and some coffee, while a Fall scented candle burns, a cat purrs and the rain comes down. I want the stress and worries to leave my brain, and I want to think of nothing but the book, coffee, candle, cat and rain. #Autumn #Fall

I think Mogwai has FINALLY figured out the dog door. She's been using it all on her own the last few days. She is still a bit cautious and hesitant at times, but she's using it! Hooray! #CosoDogs

We've received 1/3 of an inch of rain since yesterday! Many more rains expected today! I am pleased. #pnw #wawx

Still have one sick kid. Hubbs is off to Louisville for the week, for work.

I thought today would be a good day to take a Mental Health day, for me and the kids. Hot chocolate and rain is what's on the docket today! :)

It's Friday! Yea! I've got a kid home sick. Not so yea. The forecast calls for MANY RAINS next week. Yea!! Hubbs leaves for a work trip on Monday, for the week. Not so yea.

Negative covid test! *phew* He still gets an early start to the weekend, though. No school for him tomorrow!

Welp. First sick kid of the school year. Going to have him do a covid test after he eats. Fingers crossed its negative.

I've already checked off 3 out of the 4 things on my "To do list" today! Waiting for it to warm up a bit, then it's time to pull all the remaining plants from the garden. :)

Yesterday I saw a bunch of California Quail in my yard, as well as two Banded-tail Pigeons. I've seen the quail before on occasion, but the pigeons were a new sighting! #Birds #PNW
