Is there a trick to those vacuum storage bags? The ones for blankets/pillows....I have no luck with them STAYING deflated. After a few days, they ALWAYS reinflate. I've tried different brands and sizes, so it has to be user error at this point, right?

My 4Runner (Mimi) hit 40k miles this morning! Not bad for a 5 year old car.

I also got Bible Thumped in the Walmart parking lot.

Tormund (Carin Terrier) found a rat in the yard, bit it then chased it up one of the bird feeder poles. Had the thing cornered.

He's definitely doing what he was bred for! His kill list is 2 birds, 1 mole, 1 baby bunny and like 8 snakes. I'm adding the rat, cause I'm pretty sure it's not gonna survive the night. We have Great Horned Owls on our property. That's an easy meal for those guys! #CosoDogs

Daughter is mad, cause I cannot give her money to go to the fair. I told her it also wasn't fair to her brother, if I gave her money to go with a friend, but he didn't get to go at all, cause we cannot afford for all 4 of us to go.

I spent $500 on groceries, $100 to fill my gas tank AND I just spent $85 on new Nikes for her for gym. The money isn't infinite! It DOES run out. *sigh*

My poor Mogwai vomited in her kennel overnight at some point and had to lay in it all night, then she's continued with the vomiting this morning. She's refusing food, only drinking water. :( Pets getting old sucks, man. #CoSoDogs (She has health issues, I don't need advice, thank you)

I really hate that Starlink is "owned" by Elon. It's such an amazing, much needed service, for SO many people (myself included). I HATE supporting that POS by having Starlink. Internet is a needed utility these days, and I just don't have another decent option. :( I feel icky. Need a bath in Purell.....

I have a list of "To Do" things for the week, but I've discovered a new book series I am enjoying, so, the list will *probably* sit unfinished....

My son is a Senior in HS. I still make his lunches. I packed some fruit in a little round container, that looks like a lil ducky face. I asked him "Is this embarrassing for you?" He said "Nope! It's silly. My friends took pics of it to post to their Stories." lol *phew* Okay then!

Hubbs got a work call in the middle of the night and never came back to bed. 😕

Part of me hopes he'll take the day off, the other part says I got shit to do and he'll just get in the way! lol

Got the inside of the front door primed and painted! It actually looks pretty good. Going to do the outside tomorrow, hopefully it looks as good as the inside. It had more dents that needed fixing, so we'll see..... #Remodel

We put in all new light fixtures on the first floor. With that, I had to buy all new light bulbs. I decided on the "Vintage" looking bulbs, most of them are an amber/orangeish glow.

They flicker. They flutter. They pulse a bit. Not all, and not always and not a lot. It's just enough to catch your eye and annoy. lol #Remodel
