@AlphaCentauri @Razdawg22 @Nick_Searles

yep, there's "DJT" and "DJTWW"
It's not clear to me what the difference is. Maybe the hoi polloi are not being sold voting shares?

@Priestess
If you want something that doesn't need power, they make insulated cloth/styrofoam bags that function as slow cookers.

@stueytheround @sfleetucker @sentientdessert
Lol, wasn't going to bring that up, but we did the same.

We weren't going to buy the horrible 1970s accent wall colors, so we colored the toothpaste with felt tip pens when it dried 😜

@stueytheround @sfleetucker @sentientdessert

Spackle is your friend. Tiny nail holes are easier to conceal than tape that rips up the pain finish.

If the paint is something other than white, you can find a good match with apps from paint companies. You take a picture, it tells you the closest color. With a tiny jar of that color and a jar of spackle, you can nail all you want.

@purrrism

So white working guys who don't have much access to power or money see other people without power as the enemy, instead of both groups focusing their attention on the power brokers who are playing chess games with human beings.

@purrrism

Classism is the hidden "ism." People who would never say words to demean people who are gay or non-white have no trouble mocking people with rural accents or high school educations, and they readily throw around words like "redneck" and "flyover country." It solidifies the support for people like Trump, who really shouldn't have a single supporter anywhere, because they don't see Democrats as being "on their side."

@killingfloorman

Yeah, I have noticed a lot of them are low-quality videos, like some unknown guy talking about a video of something that happened, rather than the primary source itself. Maybe he's worth listening to, but they've given me no reason to invest time finding out.

But sometimes it's people posting interesting things they want to be a little surprising, and they're not realizing that the particular choice of words they post to describe it isn't giving people a reason to click.

@Sr0bi
I suspect it relates to the fact that if videos play here, YouTube ads and autoplay don't function. J has been fighting to make it work again, but no joy so far.

@knot_lorenzo
Probably not, but the average voter has a short attention span. He has to keep them terrified of migrants and communists, or else they might move on to being terrified of self-driving cars and climate change.

I don't know who needs to hear this (well, actually I do, but no need to mention names), but links to YouTube videos no longer load a thumbnail or title here.

If you post a link that just says, "This is great," "Huge news," "Worth the listen," or "❤️ ," most people aren't going to click. Give us a little more to go on. We don't have time to open every link.

@CinnamonGirlE @Boyceaz @elbutterfield @LiberalLibrarian

Everyone needs to take a break from it, so they can return fresh. He's been a very consistent voice against Trump. He's surely lost books sales because of it. He didn't have to take a stand. No one would have questioned a horror writer not commenting on politics.

@kel
The Boeing employees should have thought of that BEFORE going on strike.

@gshevlin @Graci

I'm going to guess that someone given access to his accounts and personal computers is gonna find something a whole lot worse.

(Are Geek Squad members mandatory reporters?)

@_txgal @kel
But they'll have to use a peremptory challenge to exclude you. That means they'll have to accept someone else they don't object to quite as much, and THAT person could be the holdout juror in an unfair trial.

@Razdawg22 @TrueBloodNet
They'd be crazy to change it. The investment of a single electoral vote puts them in line for a deluge of political spending that an otherwise red state would miss out on.

@ranthony
These are the same people that think if kids never hear about homosexuality, none of the gay kids will figure it out for themselves.

Too bad the products of that type of sex education are now serving in legislatures, telling doctors they have to save the embryo in an ectopic pregnancy, like you can move a placenta like a post-it note.

@Tee_Lynn
Too many other smart people have been thinking about this since the document was first signed for it to be an easy problem to solve.
