@Kaysymmetry not to start this here, but it seems crazy to me that other people don’t have an internal voice and others can’t mentally slice an apple however they want.
Anyways, Heavy Metal music is actually the longest lasting “Pop” genre ever. Look it up. Rock N Roll is here to stay, it’s our favourite, and someone will paint a bunch more murder paintings and some of those will be considered the greatest things ever devised, just like metal and punk, and just like I hope the tastes of my naggy coworker are too. It’s a whole world, gang /end
This thing is with art is that it’s done with intention. There is good and bad art, Pop Music is done as art as well. What we must do as auditors is champion ideals of art, interrogate and criticize art, we must separate art from non-art and say so. The part that is subjective about art is when we critically disagree about content, not whether or not it IS. 6/

@tyghebright when I was in archaeology field school, we discovered some quicksand and everybody gathered around to get a quick lesson about its various dangers. It was about 6 inches deep.
@tyghebright another all timer Tweet I made once: Cars kill and injure way more people than werewolves. A werewolf is full on mayhem and carnage once a month, but it kills like a dozen people max between “witching hour” and 5 AM?
@DavidSalo well the opposite of any piece of good advice is itself good advice. Wisdom is learning how to apply that.
@Curiousfoolish this week, my roommate and I needed a quite room to chat out some stuff, so we went to a nearby hotel bar which was…hosting a DJ at 4:30 in the evening on a Sunday?
@thegamerauthor my only beef is that it shouldn’t matter what I do with something after I’ve scanned it.
