Get one that wraps around your arm & inflates itself, then gives you a digital readout. Amazon has them for ~ $35 or $40. Or you can probably get one at the nearest drug store.

Never underestimate the power of women of color. If they truly get behind an idea, or a person it is more or less a done deal. You don't need to teach them how to organize. Solidarity and organizing is a survival skill they learn at birth. You can never command this into being, it comes only organically from the bottom up. Nor can you stop it once it gets moving.
You want voter turnout, the Black and Hispanic mothers and grandmothers can get it done.
Damn! Around here the Trumpers largely tend to be young straight men (probably incels)
