When all the houses on the block have puppers, there are occasional performances by the DopplerDogs.
One pup at the far end of the block starts barking/howling, the next joins in, and so on. The song of their people gets louder as it nears your house (you weren't sleeping, were you?) and gradually fades as it rolls along to the other end of the block.
The house next to us has been sold. I hope they have at least one canine singer. I'd hate to see the band break up.

BeagleBoy spends half his waking hours hiding under a blanket. I can't figure out why. It's not fear - he didn't start doing it here until he was comfortable and settled in. IAE, in this house nobody sits down without poking the lump first to see if it moves
When we brought BeagleBoy home from the shelter, he had no interest in sleeping on any of the approximately 184 dog beds in this house. Until I stacked three of them to be taken to the storage closet..

Survey for #Cosodogs people & anyone with an opinion.
We have 2 rescue beagles. They settled in pretty nicely and we love them madly, but they were raised in a home where they ran free all day. YIKES! We have a fenced yard with a locked gate, but I have no illusions that they wouldn't take the first opportunity to follow a scent until they have no idea where they are or how they got there.
If they were your dogs, how much would you pay monthly for GPS fees on these furry miscreants?
