So sick of the deliberately confusing plans offered by cell phone and cable TV companies. They are deliberately designed to be confusing and difficult to compare. A standardized services offered with costs displayed, including all taxes and fees, would be a lovely thing.

Every damn thing seems to be made more cheaply than it used to be, including - maybe especially - packaging.
Have you noticed twist tops on jars, bottles, etc are a lot harder to close? If the twisty business is a tiny bit off kilter, it goes on about halfway with no problem and then jams. This used to happen once in a great while. Now it's a regular pain in the ass.

Just once I'd like to see the star of a popular reno show tell the homeowner "Yes, I know that's very trendy, very popular, but trust me. It has a lifespan of 5 years written all over it. By 2030, it'll look so dated, you're either going to spend this money all over again or live in a house you hate."
