I decided to play through some hymns this morning, just flipping to random pages and playing whatever I landed on. Most of them were really familiar, but then I got to this absolute gem, which I'm fairly sure I've only ever sung once. This is just outstanding writing.
Those of you who want a good harmonic analysis challenge should have at it; there's some clever stuff in there.
Also, I really, really miss choir.

I have been lost here for almost an hour. The Voices are amazing. All of these are designed to play in combination if you choose. Right now I have a combination of Gregorian Voices, Chapel Voices, and Into Balance all playing in separate tabs. It's a Dorian / Mixolydian party!
Trigger warning for this one. It's a bit on the nose right now.

Before you say this one doesn't fit, I ask that you look into the history of why Guthrie wrote this song, and especially the verses that were deleted in later versions. Many people who sing this have no idea what it really means. It is not a happy song.

You all know this song, but you may not know this earlier version. I think it's much more raw and visceral without the extra Motown gloss that was applied to the final mix.

This is a question most of your would expect other people would be asking me instead of the other way around, but here goes:
Does anyone know of a web app virtual piano that allows MIDI input and also has more than 6-note polyphony? I have looked at 30+ options, and there are plenty that accept MIDI, but the polyphony is abysmal for all of them.
Most of you probably don't know this one, but it couldn't be more on the nose with what we're seeing. Pay close attention to the lyrics; they are a true story relayed to the composer.
