I stopped drawing a couple of decades ago, up until about 2 years ago. My eyes have gone bad and my hands stiff, and I always feel like I'm playing catch up, trying to get to the skill levels that I was at before. I just got a nice magnifying glass and embossing tools, and am practicing using them to make crisp highlights. Have been feeling frustrated with the page, so I decided to dig out a sketchbook from about a year and a half ago. Now I feel better.

Well, Miss Manners can suck it for her attitude, but I'm becoming mighty fond of reading advice columns in general. This is better than getting my outrage farmed, seeing that progress is still happening in this world, and people are practicing defending their boundaries with civility.

Just read Miss Manners for the first time in years and suggested two options, both had the goal of making the target uncomfortable in a passive aggressive manner, neither advocated any form of honest, but polite communication. The world is getting to everyone now, huh?

Just finished putting down some cuttings from my lucky lover pot into my front garden patch. I'll be adding to it through the year, along with dandelion seeds, so my living mulch becomes very fertile soil for my little patch of flowers. Dandelion is good at reaching deep nutrients other plants can't reach, then pulling them into their leaves, where they decay and feed the soil. Clover fixes nitrogen. Plants grown here will be lucky, lol.
