Introducing the kiddo to the Muppet's version of Bohemian Rhapsody, culture is important to pass along to the next generation.

I love this comic so much, I want to print it on a shirt, so when I hug people, I'm hugging it, too. This is very odd for me, because I really don't like hugging. Anyway, it's an Oatmeal comic advising us to chill our brain meat.

Nearly all of the world’s new electricity supply over the next few years will come from renewable and nuclear energy, pushing out fossil fuels and curbing climate pollution from electricity, according to a new analysis by the International Energy Agency (IEA). theverge.com/2023/2/8/23590874

This super smart puppy got a little carsick (still hours of the trip to go), and Joe had him on some old shirts on the seat next to him. The dog bundled up the shirt he got sick on, kicked it to the floor, then dug out another shirt he had previously pushed to the side, and laid it out under him. He changed his sheets!

Yaaay, Joe is on his way home from NY for a visit, and he's stopping in (umm, Indiana, I think?) to get the new puppy :). We've been waiting for about a month, Romeo is about a year old. He should be here Sun eve :).

ELON MUSK IS AIDING AND ABETTING AN ENEMY OF THE UNITED STATES.

THEY'VE REVERSED THE DECISION TO IMPLEMENT DESANTIS' MANDATORY PERIOD REPORTING RULE FOR HS GIRLS!

Thank you all so much for protecting our young women.

Getting more "trying to change people's minds is useless" comments over on Mastodon, don't want her to think I'm doing whatever they call subtweeting, so I'll ask over here, 'cause I do want to know. By the way, I would vote yes, many times. (And they never knew they helped me.)

Have you ever had someone tell you something patiently and kindly, and you didn't want to hear it, but it wouldn't leave you alone in your head until you looked into it more, then you changed your mind?

I want a tee shirt that has a humming bird beak and a flower that the beak will fit, with the caption, "Darwin's survival of the fittest", so I can point to it when people are all bloody in tooth and claw for evolution.

I feel inclined to pick up pencil and paper, but I have lessons to plan, and I want this shirt, and I can't stop, so I am filing a formal complaint with the world.

OMGS! OMGZZZZ! I think I can do it. I think I can finally afford CoSo pro. Yaaayyyy, giving Baaaaack!

By the way, research is seeking behavior, and thus releases dopamine. Gambling is seeking behavior, same mechanism, but with research (on a thing that interests you), it can be just as addictive, but instead of losing money, you gain knowledge. Just saying, if you feel bad, go learn more about your favorite thing, and secretly know it's a vice, that makes it more fun.
