@LowEndMuse My oldest dog does that, with little toots that sound like a squeaky toy. I love it.

@QEBrian My grandma used to get those mealy apples all the time, and I didn't know apples could be nice and crisp. The way I'd eat them was to make them into apple sauce by banging them against my head until it was mushy in the skin, and then I'd bite the skin and suck the juices out. Then I heard they are only good for baking or apple sauce and I realized that's what kid me seemed to figure out intuitively.

That little feral kitten we rescued likes to stay in my room, naturally with 4 dogs. But tiny runt and very unscary Bowie has been coming in my room to play with him, and they've become great friends. So Freddie Mercury and Bowie are pals, all is as it was meant to be.
