Hey new folks
I know everyone has to eat, and earn a living. Promoting your work whatever it is, is ok with me. But here is a hint: this place is about community, we talk, laugh, cry, and generally hang out. If you want engagement, best bet is to give engagement. Talk to us. Let us know a bit about you. Give us a reason to be interested in your work. Banner ads, or just saying "buy this" probably ain't gonna be successful.
We don't have ads here for a reason.
We do support each other's work.
@AngryCanadianGamer A beautiful soul π
Today is #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance and my thoughts immediately go to our CoSo friend Mouses. She was loved by many of us here, as she shared her life and brightness with us all.
We love and miss you Mouses. π

Friendly reminder that everyone needs to wear sunscreen. This years derm check revealed another squamous cell above my left eyebrow. Fortunately a shave biopsy did the trick with it being in-situ.

Transgender Day of Remembrance: Honoring Lives Lost
November 20th marks Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), a day to honor transgender individuals lost to violence. Created in 1999 by advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith, it began as a tribute to Rita Hester, a transgender woman murdered in 1998. Ritaβs death highlighted the violence and systemic discrimination faced by the transgender community, as well as the frequent misgendering of victims.
Native American Heritage Month
On November 20, 1969, a pivotal event in Native American history unfolded: the occupation of Alcatraz Island by a group known as Indians of All Tribes (IAT). This act of civil disobedience marked a significant moment in the Red Power movement, a campaign advocating for Native American rights and sovereignty.
