"On social media and web forums, users called for jurors, judges and prosecutors to be killed after the former president was found guilty on 34 felony counts."

This is what happens with authoritarian rule. There is no admission of guilt, but the belief the leaders are allowed to commit times

So they Punish the people who serve Justice

and the people who benefit from the attacks do not condemn them, but support it with silence

@Redskye572 oof. I'm trying to remember how we dealt with my MIL. Her finances were not super-tight thank goodness, and she eventually gave my wife power of attorney & moved into assisted living, so it wasn't so much of an issue.

If she was willing to turn over all the bill-paying & spending to you, would you want to take that on? The day may come...

@Redskye572 ugh, that's tough. Does she at least recognize that she's messing up?

On the other hand, is it up to outsiders to save the GOP? I wish I could be confident he will lose in November...

I'm daydreaming about swarming the RNC convention in Milwaukee to protest/call for sanity on their presidential candidate.

I might cough up the $ (and vacation time) to do that if someone was organizing it...

Yeah, the business community is clearly heart broken about the Mango Mussolini indictments. “Art of the Deal,” my a**.

And while we have our eyes on the orange turd, the Koch Bros keep on Koch'in. We're essentially paying them to screw us.

Summary: $3B fertilizer plant built in-part with taxpayer subsidies being sold to Koch brothers; consolidation raises concerns about industry monopoly and price escalation

Trump was unfit from day one. The GOP's continued embrace of this man--even in the face of felony convictions--disqualifies the party as a whole.

No decent person would call themselves a republican today. They are a party of thugs and traitors to the American ideal.

A real Trump rally has broken out in NYC tonight. It is a celebration.

Doesn't need saying, but I can't resist--the day the US was "disgraced" was the day the GOP shirked its duty to vet its candidates and it nominated a toxic, criminal narcissist.

That stain is never coming off.

@cornered heh--right?

Remember when they did special summer eps b/c the trump shit was just too horrible & we all needed a laugh?

So busy at the office today I only just heard the news a few minutes ago! Pinch me, I must be dreaming. Trump gets a unanimous vote in NY. There's a first time for everything.
