I agree with most except one - that independent journalism is dying.
There are so many ways to do independent journalism right now, none of which were ever available before. We should use the success stories and learn from them.
the whole team of the Kyiv Independent once walked out of another media outlet because they disagreed on editorial policies. They made their own, fully funded by the people. I pitch in too :)

just finished "Wednesday". officially - the best thing I watched this year. Maybe even longer.
I have a soft spot for great movies with well written diverse female characters. I'd put Wednesday on the same shelf as the Expanse #book series.
