@dgarcia perhaps, but the electorate has been inundated with mega Goebbels level propaganda for a decade. What we're seeing is a 21st century digital version of the descent of Weimar into fascism/Nazism. Eventually, like the poem says, nobody will be safe, including most of the electorate. I just heard from two really good friends high up in the office of the PA SoS that they managed to hack some ES&S and Clear Ballot machines in Westmoreland, Washington, and Luzerne counties. They will now flip all votes from Trump to Harris but retain Trump on the voter verifiable paper ballot. They said our democracy is too important and they're willing to go to jail for it. I just forgot that even if we invent massive quantum computers, we'll always have larger problems to solve or want to solve current problems faster. P = NP would fundamentally change computation permanently, making *every* problem solvable more efficiently.
