Something quite strange has landed near my hotel ..

Interesting result: I have on photosensitive glasses. Looking at the eclipse through a tiny pinhole. Remove the glasses and see a small dark spot where the glasses received the sun. It makes complete sense but still unexpected!

So, have all the Christians in the South Pacific and basically most of Mexico been raptured already? The remaining GOP members will be apoplectic to find that it still hasn't solved our immigration "problem".

Does research want for funding because of that dogma? Absolutely. But in the modern era at least, there are too many people doing good research to suppress new theories or those that challenge dogma for long. There is in fact few things scientists like more than to put holes in, disprove, or cause modifications to longstanding theories, sometimes even their own. On the contrary, religious dogma is inherently unchallengeable and usually requires a singular entity to reinterpret/update it.
