@singlemaltgirl the most depressing thing to me is that I don't recognize my country anymore. 2 million years of evolution. 260,000 years of homo sapiens. 10,000 years of civilization. We're still just primates who paint with urine and type Hamlet by chance. What chance do we have of instilling a moral code in AI when our brains can be so easily manipulated?
@hallmarc i really felt that during my recent provincial election. it was such a punch in the gut.
where is our progress? where is our ability to be better? where is our humanity?
it seems impossible to find in these moments.
