@matthewchat I'm more of an old-fashioned special effects kind of person where you actually had to do something to create the special effect Star Trek used a lot of lights and cans of paint to make various images.. I'm not a fan of CGI

Okay so I did not like the 2008 Andromeda Strain movie it was two scifi ish
The original version with Richard Burton was actually quite believable but this one was too far-fetched and predictable...

@duglop I picked up a piece of paper once and threw mine out.,

Watching the updated movie The Andromeda strain from 2008 I absolutely loved the original so let's see how good this is
...
Trying to maintain an upbeat mood despite my back saying the fuck you will

@duglop Wow -it certainly sounds like a wannabe spasm. Put a heating pad on the area, smoke joint and just chill out.

@duglop

Oh, wow! I am so sorry about the scoliosis! Hopefully it just a spasm that will resolve on its own. If it persists, please go see a doctor. Could be a pulled muscle, sciatica or herniated discs, which is what I have. The symptoms you are describing sound similar. Get plenty of rest as well. Don't try doing anything strenuous. But being evaluated by a doctor is a good place to start.

@Spagesgallo1 yeah I've actually been thinking about the sciatic nerve as well... I'm hoping it's not that what's really weird is it happened right after I woke up, All I did was sneeze... Funny thing is my plan as of last night was to do absolutely nothing this weekend and looks like that's exactly what I'm going to do... thank you very much

@Spagesgallo1 yeah I have scoliosis and every now and then I get back spasms but if this is a spasm it didn't start out the typical way I don't even know how to describe what's happening One minute I can move the next minute I can't physically like something's preventing me from moving and then the next minute I hurt like hell when I'm not even moving... So it feels like a strain and a back spasm at the same time

@duglop

If you have a heating pad, that will also help to relax the muscles. Tylenol will help reduce any inflammation.

@duglop

I've had issues with my back since I was 17, after being thrown from a horse. I have been going to a pain management doctor for epidurals as needed. Be careful with a chiropractor. When I feel my back starting to act up, I lay on the floor with my legs held upright against the wall. It helps to realign my back. Going for physical therapy is also extremely helpful. Hope you feel better soon. Back pain is no joke.

@Spagesgallo1 I already took some Aleve and I have some absorbine junior patches on my lower back right now thank you:)

Man as much as my back hurts right now I know it's only day one. Tomorrow is going to be even worse. I'm so not looking forward to it.

I should really get my ass to a chiropractor (or should I say my back)

@NorthernInvader @Sr0bi I mean 1 minute I'm moving better the next minute I'm gingerly moving can't bend can't do anything I don't like it

@NorthernInvader @Sr0bi it almost feels like a strain but at the same time it almost feels like the oncoming of a major back spasm it's weird to explain at first it felt like there was something physically preventing me from moving like something was holding me still

@NorthernInvader @Sr0bi thank you I wish it was a back spasm because if it was a spasm I could rest assured it'll go away relatively soon...
